Pocky (ポッキー Pokkī) is a character from the Super Dimension Fortress Macross television series. During Space War I, she was part of the team that controlled the pin-point barrier aboard the SDF-1 Macross. Occasionally, she also worked on the bridge as a substitute Macross Operator.
History
She was part of the team organized by the Chief Engineer of the Macross to control the pin-point barrier. (SDFM: "Daedalus Attack")
Notes & Trivia
- She is named after a classic Japanese chocolate and bread candy, also called pocky. It was first sold in 1966 by Glico company and consists of chocolate-coated biscuit sticks. Due to time constraints many members of the original Macross production staff used to consume lots of this type of snack food during the large periods of work needed to complete the anime.
