The GERWALKroid (ガウォーク・ロイド, Gawouku Roido) is a mecha that appears in the "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross II: Lovers Again" OVA and its compilation movie.
Technology and Combat Characteristics[]
The GERWALKroid was a destroid that is based on the GERWALK mode found in variable fighters. As a single mode unit, it lacked the long-distance flight capability of variable fighters. The GERWALKroid has the heavy armament of a destroid and the mobility of a battroid and was developed as an inexpensive substitute for the Valkyrie without long-distance flight capabilities. Its armaments included a gun and multiple grenade and missile launchers.
History[]
The GERWALKroid was deployed on Earth to defend U.N. Spacy headquarters during the Mardook War in 2092.
