Space War I (第一次星間大戦 Daiichiji Seikan Taisen) is the first Interstellar War between the United Nations Government and the Zentradi Armada in the year of 2009 to 2012. The events of this conflict could be seen in Super Dimension Fortress Macross, and were reimagined in the film, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? These events were also referenced in Macross 7.
Casualties
When the Macross fired its main cannon, it destroyed two enemy ships in low Earth orbit and revealed its position in the South Pacific. The resulting war that ensued wiped out almost half of the war human population.
